SMM & Content Creation

DV Home Design Center is a luxury home renovation company specializing in high-end kitchen, bathroom, and full remodeling projects across Long Island and New York City. We are looking for a full-time SMM & Content Creation Specialist to own and execute our content and social media presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture photo and video content on active job sites and in the showroom (phone-based shooting is acceptable).
• Edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts) using CapCut and process photos for social media.
• Plan, create, and manage a structured content calendar (2-4 weeks ahead).
• Publish posts and stories consistently across the company’s social media platforms.
• Manage engagement by responding to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with the internal team (designers, project managers, sales) to plan and schedule content shoots.
• Organize and maintain all raw and edited content in the company’s Google Drive with a clear structure.
• Attend showroom meetings multiple times per week to brainstorm, plan, and align on strategy.
• Prepare a monthly report on each social media channel 

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Strong understanding of short-form video formats
• Ability to shoot and edit content independently.
• Comfortable working on active construction sites and in renovation environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel across Long Island and occasionally NYC.
• Must be available to work in person. This is not a remote position.

Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)

Applicants must provide:

• A portfolio OR
• Links to social media accounts they have personally managed OR
• Examples of content (Reels, posts, videos) they personally created and edited.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position.
• On-site work required (showroom + job sites).
• Compensation based on experience and skill level.
• Paid test task may be requested for shortlisted candidates.
