Kitchen and Bath Designer

DV Home Design Center, a leader in luxury kitchen and bath renovations located in East Northport, Long Island is We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our dynamic and fast growing team. team at our East Northport, Long Island showroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end kitchen and bath designs.

As a Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will meet with clients in our showroom to select material finishes and develop design ideas for their home. Your designs and sales are backed up by our commitment to quality and integrity. Our designers are creative and dynamic and are passionate about their work. Our designers prioritize customer service and are charged with the management of relationships with homeowners and contractors from initial contact through the construction of their project. You offer your guidance, expertise, and love, seeing your projects come to life!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and present creative, detailed kitchen designs that reflect client needs and lifestyle.
• Accurately translate initial concepts and measurements into detailed layouts efficiently.
• Manage the entire design process from consultation through final order placement.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and the sales team.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive client relationships throughout the project.
• Assist the sales department with customer account management and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in high-end kitchen and bath design.
• Proficiency with design software, including 2020 Technologies, ProKitchen, 3D Max.
• Proven sales experience and ability to communicate effectively with upscale clientele.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary plus commission (based on total project value). Exact terms will be tailored individually based on experience and contribution.

Schedule:

Full-time position, 5 days a week.
